At the Summer Entrepreneurship Academy (SEA), we will work on the technical and interpersonal skills necessary to be a successful entrepreneur. Students participating in the SEA will be placed in teams and challenged to find an innovative idea to build a business plan and pitch. Participants will spend their mornings learning business skills necessary to successfully launch a business. In the afternoon, teams will work on strengthening their teamwork and putting in to practice the skills taught in the morning. The week-long experience will end with a pitch competition to a panel of local business owners and entrepreneurship experts.

Dates/Times:
Monday-Friday, June 18-22, 2018, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day

Age/Grade Level: Students leaving 9th grade through students leaving 12th grade

Where: SIUE Campus, with one or two field trips

Camp Fee: $350
